Things the guide books don't tell you: 2

Ok, so one of the reasons I like to travel is because of the unpredictability of what might happen. Every day is different. Decisions can have a significant impact.


However... one place where I do like predictability is when I'm walking up and down stairs. Vietnamese concreters do not. This results in the top step being a little lower than you expect, or maybe the bottom step. Or maybe the path just ends abruptly with a tiny step down where work needs to be completed. 




Something to watch out for if you don't want to topple over the edge or end up face first on the pavement in some places.
