Oh yea Mui Ne

It was time for a change of scenery and routine. So we decided to decamp to Mui Ne for a few days. We headed up on the train on Monday and had three luxurious nights by the beach. The journey took around 4 hours and passed some lovely scenery, including dragon fruit farms as we got closer to Phan Thiet, which is where the train stops.

The beach where we were staying was really beautiful. M found a great deal at SunSea Resort. Infinity pool, everything. Wow. Hired a bike for 24 hours but didn't do a lot of sight-seeing, just enjoyed the surrounds.

We returned to Saigon on Thursday night. So on Friday, back to reality, I had another interview. I went to the building and to the 8th floor as arranged. The receptionist, clearly under pressure, first told me "Wait a minute, wait a minute" when I tried to tell her why I was there. Then (after a minute or two) she came over to ask "What's the matter with you?" (Hopefully not a graduate of the school I was interviewing for!) Anyway, after being sent to level 7, and then going to 2, and then returning to 8 as no one was around on either of those floors, and being told then to go to 10, but saved by the last minute by the person who was about to interview me, on level 8, I finally had the interview. It went well, for a high school but very good conditions. So I will probably do a demo lesson for them.

In the afternoon, I had another meeting with one of now two organisations promising contracts. However, said contracts are yet to materialise. Hmmm.
